French illustrator Presse resides near Paris (“in a peaceful little town”) and is currently studying to get into design school.

He certainly has an intriguing (and possibly unique) process for converting the wacky ideas in his brain into digital data: “I usually draw a design on paper (with my left hand), then I draw it a second time on Illustrator with a mouse (with my right hand). I know this is strange, but it is the way it is!”

Designers Presse admires include Miss Bean (“because she really has her own style”) and Nesk (“because of the number of ideas he can have in any one minute”).

And what does he get up to when he isn’t illustrating?

“I smoke cigarettes, I eat, I work and I sleep.

“I also play a lot of music. I’ve learnt to play guitar, bass, piano and drums – but it’s just for fun.”
