Californian cartoonist Luke Wisner works as a graphic designer (and scientific illustrator, and artefact photographer) for an archaeology firm. (“Sounds more glamorous that it is,” says Luke.)
Luke explains how he divines inspiration for his projects (with the aid of a bathing analogy): “I am a sponge, and I like to soak up any idea that presents itself. Those ideas get a sudsy scrub down within my head, and hopefully a quality concept will come out in the rinse.”
When he’s not illustrating, LA Lakers-fan Luke spends time with his wife and two sons watching cartoons and eating cereal.
