Philidelphia’s Pseudonymjones (Matthew Elliott) has been illustrating from an early age: “I was always drawing monsters in a spiral notebook as the official cataloguer of my childhood Legend of Zelda fan club”.

But he has since endured a turbulent education in design: “I studied Digital Art for a semester, but then I called a professor a c*** and walked out of her class. They took away my full scholarship and I transferred and now design is just an enjoyable hobby.”

He now studies English (“I will receive my bachelor's degree shortly, after which I look forward to a prosperous career as a temp”) and enjoys reading “British and American authors and poets which include but are not limited to: Kurt Vonnegut, Louis Sachar, John Keats, and Geoffrey Chaucer”.

His own contribution to literature is the surreally brilliant web comic, Sigh Whatever (a darkly ironic and alarmingly unhinged trawl through the modern psyche).

Matthew is also into gaming (“I am indebted to the Nintendo corporation for providing me with most of my life's entertainment”), and - when peckish - he likes to take a stroll down to the Llanerch Diner (“it’s a hole-in-the-wall a few blocks from my house. They serve amazing food there, the type that will give you religious experiences”).
